Meet the Team

Ryan Murphy

After Sales Manager

Ryan joined the Company as a collection and delivery driver but we soon found he had the ability to apply himself and had a desire to get on. We promoted him to Service Advisor in July 2012 and  when the previous Aftersales Manager relocated to the West Country in June 2014, Ryan was again promoted and his performance has been recognised by Suzuki, who have invited him onto a pilot Management course they are running that gains accreditation from the IMI.

Nic Francis

Service Advisor

Nic joined us in September 2013 as a collection & delivery driver following Ryan's promotion and then like Ryan, moved into the Service Advisor's role when Ryan became After Sales Manager. Nic was training to be an accountant, a role he wasn't comfortable with and prefers the interaction with the public and the variety this new role brings. Nic has already been successful in gaining Suzuki's Customer Service accreditation and has also been trained by Motability for After Sales. Nic is now Hyundai service certified and has just 2 courses to go until he will become a Hyundai master service advisor.

Luke Allen

Parts Advisor

Luke joined us in December 2013 as a Parts Apprentice and has a two year training programme. His course tutor had this to say about him”, Luke is progressing well, gaining knowledge and becoming more and more confident! Luke will become a great parts advisor when apprentice training is over”. Completing his Hyundai parts programme back in 2015 we are all sure Luke can put this to good use and further himself in the company.

Luke has now completed his apprenticeship and become runner-up of apprentice of the year for Suzuki! Luke has settled in extremely well into the role of parts advisor and with his array of knowledge, not only with Suzuki and Hyundai, but all manufacturers. Luke is currently rebuilding his 1970’s VW beetle from scratch which he hopes to have completed this by the summer.

David Lloyds

I joined Stirling in May 2012 having relocated from Ashford in Kent. Previously I had worked as a Technician on Hyundai, Mazda, Kia, Chrysler and Jeep. Whilst working at the Dealership in Ashford I attended many Manufacturer Training courses which ranged from Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical aspects of the car. Stirling are also committed to training and I have just achieved (as of 31st March 2016), Hyundai Master Technician status.

Modern Cars are now very similar in design and manufacture so my skills are fully transferable to any make of car. I know you will be completely satisfied with the work I carry out on your car, and that you will be able to say you Definitely Would recommend us to your family and friends?

Finally if you would like me to undertake the Service or Repair work on your cars next visit please advise Service Reception when making your booking.

Dave is also well on his way to completing his Suzuki master technician accreditation to run alongside his Hyundai one, and with only a handful of courses left to go we are all sure he will soon achieve that.

Simon Gittoes

Simon re-joined Stirling in September 2015 after leaving the company for 4 years to work and run a local independent garage. Simon left with his Suzuki master tech credentials and has returned for re-fresher courses with Suzuki this year to keep up to date with the latest models and technology. With over 20 years experience there isn’t much Simon doesn’t know about any vehicles, especially Suzuki. Simon is also Hyundai credited which he passed with flying colours in February 2016. We have now put an action plan together to ensure Simon, like David, also becomes a master technician for Hyundai!

Ryan Weston

Ryan also joined from an independent in June and achieved NVQ Level 2 in Motor Mechanics at Hereford Technical College and since he has been with us he also is a Hyundai Accredited Service Technician. and is currently working towards Expert. Ryan is also working towards becoming Suzuki credited technician.

Tom Greenhouse

Tom joined us as a Suzuki Apprentice in August 2013 and his course tutor  comments that he is making excellent progress and certainly at work he has become a valuable member of the team and always displays a willing and conscientious attitude. Tom is now in the final stages of his apprenticeship and by the end of the year 2016 he will become Suzuki qualified. Tom is a valuable asset to the company and will go onto become one of the best technicians in the business.

Jay Greenhouse

Collections & Deliveries Driver/Valeter

Jay on recommendation from his brother Tom joined us in September 2014 and there have been no prizes for guessing what his next job will be. Jay takes a lot of pride in his work knowing the valeting of vehicles is one of the most important roles in the business.

Steve Harbottle

After working locally for over 20 years at Bulmers, Steve has devoted well over 10 years equally spirited service (!) to Stirling as chief valeter, utilising his painstaking attention to detail to consistently exceed customer expectations. A keen walker & cyclist, Steve's greatest concern at present is if his beloved Newcastle can avoid the drop!
